The second technical meeting for the 1st MIMPA International Inter Agency Emergency Response & Post Disaster Management Convention was held on 10th January 2014 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The attendees were from various local and national agencies who would be part of the upcoming convention, experts in various aspects of emergency response & post disaster management and representatives from various ministries which included; MIMPA members, Ministry of Tourism Police Department, JPAM, Maritim, Fire department, Tourism Sabah and Sabah Air.
The meeting lasted from 8 am – 5 pm with many issues regarding the upcoming convention discussed including the programme tentative, logistics, budget and others. Future technical meetings will be held in order to ensure the smooth running of the upcoming convention.
