MMG: Young Columnists Program – Dr. Khoo Yoong Khean

YCP_final_resizeThe Malaysian Medical Gazette’s first and foremost aim is to empower the community through its health education articles. These are largely from our regular columnists who spend the nights typing away on their keyboards. But what happens when these columnists move on? Who will pick up the baton? This is where our Young Columnists Program comes in.

The Young Columnists Program (YCP) is a program tailored specially for medical students or young doctors wanting to try their hand at writing for the community. We believe that nurturing young columnists and giving an outlet for them to write is important too. As they are not qualified to write proper health education articles yet, the articles these students and young doctors will be mainly on their opinions and experiences.

Guided by our team of editors, their articles will be published on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Know more about them at the The Team tab and their articles at the Young Columnists Program tab. They also have a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/MMGYoungColumnistsProgram and a Twitter account at @MMG_Youth.

Do like/follow to know the latest updates from these amazing students!
